    • Elucidate molecular mechanisms in cancer progression, study the role of reactive oxygen and nitrogen species and establish developmental models of malignant transformation.

     

  • Drug Discovery/Development

    • Assess the anti-tumor potential of various digitoxin analogues and test their efficacy in in vivo models.

     

  • Angiogenesis

    • Study the crosstalk between various angiogenic mediators that may play a critical role in driving angiogenesis in various models, including fibrogenesis and carcinogenesis.

     

  • Toxicology

    • Assess the toxicological potential of single- and multi-walled carbon nanoparticles and elucidate causalities of nanoparticle pathogenesis in various disease states.

     

  • Stem Cells

    • Elucidate the mechanisms of cancer progression and metastasis as mediated by cancer stem cells, and develop methods to target them.
