Amber Jones
2016-2017.
I am a junior, Biology major, Leadership Studies minor from Birmingham, Al. Along with being active in many campus organizations including being the Vice President of Hampton University's Student Recruitment Team, a co-facilitator on the Junior Community Service Committee, and a member of the Junior Executive Council, my most prestigious affiliation is being a MARC Scholar. Through this program, I have had the exposure and experiences that have helped me solidify my interest in research, and have instilled the desire to pursue a research related career. Upon graduation in May of 2018, I have the plans to go to graduate school in hopes of attaining a PhD in in Cancer Biology or Pharmacology.
